Given most of Britains golf courses will be closed this weekend, how far would you travel in Britain to play if you found a nice course open and free of snow and ice?

Good question at this moment in time and as frustrated as i can be not playing about 2 hours, especially for a nice open course as i play on a very tight parkland course.

Would travel any where , as long as soemone went halfs on the fuel or if there loaded they can pay the lot.

Midnight...

To be honest I wouldn't bother. Despite being as addicted as the next man on here, the hassle of making the journey just to play, probably badly, and then having to get back again especially with the forecast for the weekend and next week would make the whole thing too much even for me.

I'll add one small caveat. If it was a championship course or an exclusive and the journey was guaranteed then I'd be lacing my spikes up at the drop of a hat

well that would be 3 miles for me then.......going by how long the last 3 miles home took tonight.....yep! exactly 2 hours :(

I'm quite enjoying staying in and tearing the wallpaper off the wall ....

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa.
They're coming to take me away, ho ho, he he, ha ha,
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young
Men in their clean white coats and
They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!
