Hope he does and he does(get pi**ed),he always seem to have the promise,build up,but never really came close,which does seem a waste of what can be a sublime game...sometimes!!

He beat Tiger in the finals of the World matchplay and won another world matchplay a couple of years later, not to mention the european tour wins and Ryder Cup successes... he gets by!

I really don't think he has to win!!!

He withdrew from a tournament just to help Rory celebrate, so does he really need to win? Course not he just needs to be a distant friend of the winner

If ever a guy deserves it then DC would be right up there. A guy who has gone toeo to toe with Woods in his prime and won, a guy who genuinely cares about a lot of his fellow pros and someone who composed himself with magnificent dignity during his darkest hours. Add to that being a great parent to two wonderful boys and I hope he can go on. Certainly given the conditions forecast he must have chance given his links experience

We here in N Ireland, have had GMac and Rory win majors in the last year or so. If big Darren was to win, it would be bigger than either those 2 wins. The guy is admired by everyone in Ireland let alone the North.
I hope he does it, but then again its Darren we're talking about here.

If it happens, I bet the open will be held here sooner than their thinking about. It would be MASSIVE for Ireland!!!
He just seems to be different to the other Irish guys!!
