How do I rotate my Avatar

How the hell do i rotate my avatar from portrait to landscape, have done so in pictures on computer but still came out portrait, please bear in mind you are helping an 'egit'

When you rotated in your picture viewer on your computer, did you save it? When you open the picture on your computer, is it the correct orientation or is it still vertical?

You could always put the monitor upside down if that doesn't work.
