How did I do......how the hell do I know.

Apart from the slow access (weekend evenings) it's done most things fine for me, booking comps I do midweek, or via club terminal. Results are posted when the club close the comp (missing comps have always been the fault of the club). Usually get the email for results when the results are done, so no need to check the website every hour anyway ;)

I don't think I have ever had any of the issues being discussed on here

Know we had one comp which was published on the HDID website but found out it was published on the ladies side because it was mixed it was closed on the men's side first then ladies when it should be the other way around

...
My club are on Masterscoreboard so pretty much stuck with HDID.

Er. What?

Masterscoreboard is HandicapMaster's product. HDID is Club2000's.

HandicapMaster/Masterscoreboard is totally Internet based so, these days, much simpler than C2k/HDID - where Master System is still on the Club's PC and relies on semi-skilled operators, reasonable transfer rates and decent server 'peak load' performance, issues that have always seemed to have been 'iffy'!

I have posted about this shambolic company several times as I am unfortunate enough to work with their product every day...

And I work with it regulary also doing comps , memberships and handicaps and haven't had any major issues.

Found the company to be very helpful and their training days to be very good also

Have another one soon

Improvements are also in the pipeline to improve it also

Lucky you, their EPOS system is also crap and outdated.

They were a market leader who have failed to develop and improve sufficiently and they are chastised among Club Managers and rightly so.

Sorry typo from me.

A classic example of a daft system! No 'user error' there if that is truly what happened/was required - the system should handle that sort of thing!

@Dodger. Time to consider/recommend alternatives? Unfortunately an expensive/disruptive process itself! But the only way C2k, as the major supplier, will react. And until you can justify the cost of your (wasted) time against that cost, the answer is the status quo, warts and all!

I find it average on weekdays but at weekends it's close to useless.

I thought I'd look up your recent medal buffer result as a test for it; it's been over 5 minutes now and I've still not even got onto the "Competition Results" page.

I'd also entered the Titleist Order of Merit at the start of the year; I seem to have been scrubbed from it now as it's not showing any results and asking me to enter.

Make that over 10 minutes now and still only on the course home page, pathetic!

(Well done on the buffer by the way.)

Because I haven't closed the comp yet so won't be on our results page until that is down.

Tried again just now. Wanted to look up some information......it's going to be a close run thing between the site loading and seeing me get to single figures. Sadly the powers that be seem very entrenched in their views about it and very reluctant to even consider there may be alternatives. I guess while those doing the handicaps are happy to do so this way nothing will ever get done.
