How could your golf club be improved ??

all my club could do to improve is build nine more holes and some more practice facilities. the members are the best you could wish for the prices are good the whole club in general is run well its just a shame its 9 hole

Memebrs are great, friendly.
Clubhouse good, could use a bit more atmosphere.
Course is very wet, has been all year due to the attrocious weather. Many bunkers are unplayable, again, the weather.
Like an earlier post, I wish the compressor worked, saves all the grass in the carpark.

My main gripe is the extremely poor junior setup. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of bringing up the juniors. They pay their fees like the rest but have nothing in the way of their own bit of the club.

we flood - no point complaining as it's flood plain so it will happen. consequently there are few elevations so we could do with a bit more invention to add interest to a few holes, there aren't many bunkers and some are just not on the line of play.
there is work being done on a few which is changing the character of those holes - not sure if this is for the better as there are no published plans or artists impressions. I get the feeling that the changes are only aimed at speeding up play in order to get more on course.
more crowd control, a bit of marshalling wouldn't go amiss on a Friday/Saturday. we don't book other than weekends but someway of partnering up, especially on a Friday, would be good.

A starter or marshal, particularly on society days to keep things moving, and especially to get people out of the bar and onto the course.

An up to date diary on the notice board, giving all the events and society times for the forth coming month. I can't plan my golf if the sheet is out of date all the time.

More consistent bunkers. Some have sand, some don't.

Better definition of the rough. Often the first cut is impossible to tell from the deep stuff. If you are 3" off the fairway, you shouldn't have to look for it.

Other than that, I love my club, it is my second home.

Cheaper bar prices wouldn't hurt though.
