right, time to be honest, in the grand scheme of things how important is golf in your life compared to..
family
work
friends
other sports/hobbies

and be totally honest!

My golf is always right up there, but it slots in with the other things, I certainly think of golf more than work!

Well im probably thinking about golf more than sex.....:whoo: But i would say that my family comes first and it will always be that way......

Thats not to say that if i had the chance that id play 7 days a week....
Im constantly thinking about my game though......Iv books and magazines under the bed......In the car if im out and im waiting for the other half then im flicking through a golf mag or a book....

Im always on this site whether it be on my phone during the day or on the net at night.....

But i now have my 2 kids getting into it now as well....Good thing about this is that when they have there juniors classes at the course then i can sneak 9 holes of practice in while im waiting.....And my other half gets some alone time then also......It keeps everyone happy.

small percentage of my life in the grand scheme of things, don't play enough (the wife will say different), think about it and read about it through here/magazines etc a fair bit but family and work come first.

At the moment bieng 16 it comes before most things, obviously mates birthdays or parties im gonna go to, but if its just a meet up or whatever its golf all the time, golf is huge for me at the moment, play/ practise around 3.5 hours a day, bad really consider i got my GCSE's in a couple of weeks...

far to much tbh! im going to move to england for work soon so my days are numbered. im playing every day at the minute! played 24 holes today.

I can't put percentages on it as my wife and baby girl are life but I am about as hooked on golf as anyone who has ever been.

Truthfully less than I'd like,
With my AS Levels right around the corner, I'd feel guilty if I focused on golf too much. But once the summer comes it'll be life. But until then schoolwork, socialising and learning to drive are more important

hard to place a % on the golf, but it's high on the agenda. Work is only here to provide for me and the family so thats 40 hours a week accounted for, then family and golf, spend as much time on the golf course in the summer as I do with the family, so make your own mind up.

Be pretty much about 70% I'd say.

The last 8 days have gone something like
Thursday work
Friday half day work, 3 hours practise
Saturday 18 holes Medal
Sunday 33 holes matchplay
Monday work half day
Tuesday 18 holes with HID
Weds Mid week open Stableford
Thurs work

Everyday hit at least 20 to 30 balls at home and half an hours putting on the carpet

I still enjoy playing but it's not as big a part of my life as it used to be.
Played last week-end at Woodhall Spa, I could have played yesterday but chose not to. I could play on Sunday but won't be as I am nipping over to Belgium on a tobacco run. Not too bothered on missing out on a golfing day.
Next game for me will be next Tuesday at Worthing.
After that??? God knows.
It doesn't take much for me to get "over golfed" nowadays

This is a tough question. Golf for me is therapy and is helping me cope with my illness BUT I'm fortunate enough to have a wonderful family that I love dearly and a job that is truly rewarding. I couldn't put a percentage or fraction (very droll Gareth ;) ) on it. Family definitely comes first though despite what the Mrs may say. She'd point to the times I practice my putting in the living room, reading magazines, browsing the forum, surfing online golf stores etc

However, I see all those activities as golf substitutes. Golf is me on the course/practice area, with some funny shaped sticks and a little white ball. Everything else is a group of activities when I've prioritised something else over golf. :)
