I've got it, bloody painfull, anyone else had it and can you give any pain relief advise or let me know how long it lasts?

Used to get it it all the time being a sparky,its a inflamation of the sac in your knee anti inflams and anti biotics takes about a week to clear didn't stop me golfing mate,even when it felt it was on fire.

Ibuprofen, cold compress and rest should help.
