Seen a footy highlights link on youtube, but to access the site you have to agree to downloading this toolbar ( for free - natch )

Is this a legimate new way of providing free access?

Or is it something more sinister?

Hi Crappy

It is an open invitation to all sorts of spyware to access your PC

Download it at your peril, but any decent anti spyware program ( www.malwarebytes.org ) will pick it up and kill it on first run.

So if you really want to view this clip, FIRST Download Malwarebytes free version, update it till it says you have the latest database,

Then download your clip with hotbar.

Watch the clip
Then run malwarebytes full scan straight away
It will take a couple of hours to run, but will clean out all the rubbish.
just follow the prompts

Thanks for the link. I have just sacked McAfee after several years. Their program was not working properly and their helpdesk finally ran MalwareBytes, found errors but they did not clear them. They then deleted Malwarebytes and offered to clean up the infected files for £59.
I now have my own copy of Malwarebytes and the offending items have been removed.
My computer is running at full speed for the first time in many months.
