Flicking between the golf and cricket this morning and thinking that something like "hot spot" technology would be great if it could be used in the golf coverage. We see the flight of the ball and the end result but to get a feel for how often the pros really middle it and get the desired compression etc would be fun...

Or is there already something along those lines and I've not seen it? Apart from impact tape of course !!

PS. My new job of handicap secretary is keeping me from the course today as I have a Congu seminar to attend - that wasn't in the job description !

I think it would be a good idea as it shows really well with the cricket, how ever I would think it would be based on the swing speed of the club and how much you can slow down the hot spot camera to make it effective enough to use.

I did wonder that as you'd want it as precise as impact tape to really be informative...would be fun to see though.
