Hot Drink Anyone?

I played on Friday and one of the lads produced a flask - inside of which was a coffee and Baileys ensemble!! 'hansome to say the least.

THEN - he produced a hip flask which was an Ameretto and apple juice concoction!!

Bosh!!

it also speeds up the onset of hypothermia......it makes you feel warmer because of the dilation of the blood capillaries on the surface of your skin but in actual fact it has the opposite effects.

i'd probably go for the hot chocolate.....can't beat a hot chocolate when it's proper cold.

If I'm ever on the golf course when the onslaught of hypothermia is likely I think I should be shot! I'd imagine I'll either be in the house, clubhouse, or wrapped up all cosy sledging with the weans!

Yep as Wull said spirts will make you colder. As it draws the small veins(I cant spell capilleries) up to the surface. So any cold or wind cools the blood quicker. Plus will you be driving home after??

When you say 'one of the lads' was he wearing a skirt?

Hot chocky for me. Hard to get a good cuppa if it's served in a polystyrene cup from a shed

We have a vending machine in our half way house which churns out a pretty good chicken soup. I always used to go for one of those when they cost 50p.

Alas, as the machine wasn't taking enough money the course manager put the price up by a whopping 40% to 70p. And guess what? The machine now takes even less as we've all bought ourselves flasks.

Coffee for me now.
