One for planning. Get yourself a Stanley knife, work out your nearest tip/recycling place. You'll have a heck of a lot of cardboard to dispose of and it's worth 10 minutes of your time with a Stanley knife to cut it into smaller pieces to fit into your car easily.
My son moved into a flat a couple of years ago and I helped him buy and assemble stuff first weekend. The packaging got a bit overwhelming at first until I started to break it up and dispose of it as we went along. Just emptying and leaving it took over the flat so we had to have a bit more order about it.
That aspect surprised me, you'll have way more than your wheelie bins can cope with.
