"Homer Style" round review......

Smiffy

You should always look on the bright side, look at the holes you DIDNT 3 putt.

Played Lindfield a few years back when it was called Painshill (I think) not a bad little course, a bit up and down in places but some nice holes. The 14th up the hill is a strong hole and the 18th was a good finishing hole.

Sounds better that your present goat track, your words not mine. Good luck.

To be honest Smiffy doesn't get on very well at most courses... something to do with 3-putting on any greens that aren't as smooth as Augusta

(I thought Lindfield used to be called Paxhill at one time)

It did used to be called Paxhill Park when it first opened about 20 years ago. It got terrible reviews initially, I never visited it then because of them.
But apparantly, a lot of money has been spent on it over the last few years and it is supposed to be quite good now.
Ray and Khalid have played it a few times and are thinking of joining too. They say that there are a few holes in the middle section that are a bit "up and down" but keep on raving about the condition of it, saying the greens are some of the best they have played on.
I'm too busy over the course of the next month or so to get over there myself, but will do so as soon as I get a spare afternoon to have a bash.

The horror, The horror!

What you do in your spare time is between you and the laptop please!
