Holiday Recommendation

Hi everyone,

First post here so be gentle.. I'm looking for recommendation for holiday destinations. Probably easiest if I list my criteria below and then I'd love to hear people's experiences.

- Time: 1 week
- Cost: ~£700
- Golf: I'd like to play maybe 4+ rounds in the time I'm there, so free rounds aren't a must, but discounted rounds would be nice!
- Other: I'd like to be somewhere fairly central to a town so we can go out to a couple of bars and eat some nice local food. I will be going with my brother in June. Would like somewhere hot(ish) and near the sea - brother doesn't play so much golf, so will probably want something to do alone.

So far I have looked at Madeira through Thomson holidays. There are a couple of options there, but I would like to see what you have for alternative destinations/companies to book through.

Not sure how experienced with golf but obviously you can't go wrong with Portugal it's a folders dream. Great budget mate so you can't go wrong there.

I can recommend Villamoura in Portugal.
Andalucia in Mainland Spain.
I have recently played in Fuerteventura which was nice but not a busy place in any town and only 3 or 4 courses on the whole island.
