Not a bad start to the round today.

Monthly medal. We started on the Par 3 10th. 136 to the front right pin.

No warm up, walked straight to the tee. Pulled my Pitching Wedged. Tee'd the ball up. Couple of practice swings and just hit it pure. Never left the pin.

I thought it came up slightly short, but the guys on the patio behind us were convinced it dropped.

Wandered up there and it was in the hole.

First one :clap: Wondered if it would ever happen.

Actually managed to hold the round together. Shot a net 68 in the end.

Played pretty solid all round. Only blemish was I screwed up our 3rd hold, par5. I was 50 yards from the front edge in 2 then took another 6 for an 8

But apart from that everything was pretty good. So will get a nice little cut as well

Well done for holding it together.
I got an ace on 6th hole during a match (before which we were 4up) and it messed with my head so much that I think we only won one more hole and ending up tying the match!

Brilliant. Had one myself earlier this year. A friend of mine mounted the ball on a trophey which sits proudly next to the television in the man cave. Hope you put the ball straight back in your bag for something similar!

Good work sir, I have never played that hole well, did get my 1st hole in one on your 8th tho.
