Im also playing like a gimp at the moment ( not wrapped in leather with an orange in my mouth) and I nearly got my first hole in one last sat, on a par 4. (250 odd yards). Driver landed 40 yards before the green ran about 6 inch past the hole and finished on the back fringe.

After spending the weekend playing like a *** and get done 6&4 in our clubs knockout i finally got my first hole in one tonight. The 11th at Telford G&C 154 yards.
So if you are playing like a mule keep going as something will come right eventually.

You know it only really counts in a fuul comp.

but well done, 40 years ive played and never had 1.

Well done Wolfman, my first hole in one came in similar fashion was having a rubbish round, some how hit a good iron and in the hole it went, playing partners where more excited than me, almost had another one on Saturday was a couple of rolls away from the hole on our 18th. Like they say once you have one others will follow had 2 more since then.
