I had my second hole in one yesterday on our par 4 4th hole in the Hamper sweep. We were playing temporary greens so do you think this still counts?
Bar bill was only £30- the joy of playing early on a Saturday morning.

Fabulous. Well done, and on a par 4!! :)

Was it a bucket hole? or just a temp. Might make a difference to some, not to me though.....what can you say. Congratulations. :) :) :)

Our 4th is a dog leg so the temp green is at the top of the hill on the turn of the dog leg. I hit a six iron, the frost was lying on the ground so got about 30 yds of run. None of our temporary greens have bucket holes so it was probably the equilavent of a hole in one on a par three.

Unless it hits the ironwork, in which case it is in all the way until it is out.

Bucket holes are 2x the size of proper holes, and are used in temporary greens when the grass is so rough you can't putt on it.

5 pts for the hole in one, I didn't have a shot at it. I had 22 pts over nine holes which was level par and didn't get near the prizes. I had 39 pts over the 18 but nust say back nine ws a struggle as I was out the night before on xmas do.

I had a Hole in One, on the 12th Dec at our club. The 10th Hole, 192yds, off full tees and on the top level of a MacKenzie green. Fantastic! Then I find out that another member has even better bragging rights for the day. He also made a Hole in One on the same hole on the same day, however his was his first shot of the day, as he started at the 10th. It was still a pleasure buy the drinks.
