HMV Gift Vouchers

Just a quick heads up if anyone has any HMV vouchers they thought were useless it appears from the BBC that they will be valid again from tomorrow, if you have any Id be looking to get them spent asap

Great news!!! i have £8 on a refund card. dont care if its batteries or anything i buy, in fact, i might throw another £2 in and get a £10 iTunes card! perfect!

Excellent, my kids got £30 each for Xmas , just below the £100 limit for the credit card companies to refund

Phil, if i had £60 of vouchers, i would be at the store for 9am opening tomorrow making sure i left with physical goods. personally wouldn't trust them to deliver using the web. (i know it would probably be fine, but just wouldnt risk it)

There website is down, and expect it stays that was whilst in administration (fair chance they get saved reading some of the press around currently) but would be looking to get the kids to a shop asap Phil personally just in case

If I were you I'd camp out overnight just to be safe. And do some panic buying of tins of sweetcorn in Tescos whilst you are at it.;)

The major record companies do not want to see HMV go down as it would just mean that the supermarkets would drive down the prices even further. So HMV will be fine in some form or another in the future.

Anyway, best check how are my Jessops and Blockbuster shares are doing....

I agree that they will get looked after, but if your kids had £50 of vouchers, would you use them on line in the vain hope some goods arrive, or would you go and make it happen?

The major record companies do not give a monkey's. They are already pushing towards the digital downloads and overpriced concerts.
 
Dying as i still am from pleurisy, I drove 9 miles to Wycombe to buy "something" with these gift cards.
Result....Gift cards now exchanged, kids happy, wife not nagging about it any more....she's moved on to something else

end of the world has been averted
