USER1999
Grand Slam Winner
As a lot on here (any one who has played with me, or posted a 'what trolley should I buy' thread) know, I have a Hillbilly terrain, which has always been a pile of junk. It is noisy (very) and sheds screws as it goes along (possibly due to the vibrations from the motor loosening every thing).
I drilled out all the rivets holding the tubes together a couple of weeks ago, and replaced them all with bigger ones as they kept snapping.
I finally got fed up with the noise on Sunday, and stripped the motor down to it's component parts. It is one of the bearing races that I think is causing the problem (doesn't run smoothly at all), so I have a new set on order. There was also a wavey washer, which was in about 10 bits. This I'm not replacing, as the only one I can find on the interweb is about £9. For a washer. Heck, it isn't that important.
Only problem is, I have now done my back and neck. I am playing on Thursday night, Friday afternoon, Saturday late morning, Sunday afternoon, and all day Monday.
Hope the bearings turn up quickly.....
Also hope it sorts the noise problem, or I'm not sure where I go next, except to the scrappy.
