hey new here im just wondering im 17 and have a 9 handicapp do people think its still possible for me to make it as a pro or am i just biteing off more than i can chew lol

It depends. Are you prepared to work hard and practice properly. Do you have regular lessons. Is your handicap still going down. It s possible and people like Poulter started relatively late but I think you need to be playing to low single figures no later than the start of next season to have any realistic chance.

I wonldn't give up your day job but the catch 22 is that if you have one you won't make it anyway!

If you want to be a club pro you'll be fine either way but becoming any half decent type of playing pro will take alot of work and dedication.

I am wondering if this 'kid' was a chancer. His Tag is the same as the web site I deleted from his thread and I dont know many other 17 year olds plugging a book.
