Hi to Everyone

Just wanted to say hi to everyone,

I used to be an avid golfer, Never took myself very seriously, but enjoyed the game for many years from my teens to early twenties, playing at least once per week....

Then marriage, children, and the need to earn more took control and lost site of this wonderful sport for many years..

A number of years ago had a near fatal motorcycle accident, which with care and support from a great team, and my lovely wife managed to be nursed back to a fair degree of health, although i do have severe mobility problems with my left leg.

To cut a long story short, took my first tentative steps back to golf a couple of weeks ago at our local Driving Range.

And although i only manage a half, to three quarter swing, I am again hooked,(If not hooking ;) )

Hopefully for many years to come.
I have just purchased my first issue of Golf Monthly, and am sure it will also become an avid companion as i take up subscription.

kind Regards to all.

Stuart.

Welcome Stuart.
Quite an introduction mate. Glad to hear you made a decent recovery following your motorcycle accident.

Glad to see you can still swing em. Sounds like you're hooked already.

Enjoy the game, the mag and the forum mate!

:D :D LOL.

Yip. It'll be August before I come down out of the clouds! Just sent an e-mail to Ian Butcher at Kingsacre to thank him for the 3 years of lessons. Turns out they were worth every penny!
