Stableford format, 3/4's handicap. Chucking it down with rain, supposed to be getting quite windy later, and a fairly tough course.......
Have entered it with Murphthemog (Chris), Leftie (Roger) and JustoneUK (James).
Roger off 10, me off 9, Chris off 7 and James off 5.

Predictions on points????
Closest wins a mystery prize.

:D

Chalk and cheese....

Smiffy - he's always moaning about something :p

Craphacker - always the optimist :)

35 points   I'm flattered, but in today's anticipated conditions we will be lucky to get that between us. :p

In no particular order.....

JustOneUK - 23pts
Roger - 20pts
Murphthemog - 32pts
Smiffy - 19pts

We took that place to pieces!

To be brutally honest the course was practically unplayable. I was in the first group out and it was raining stair-rods when we teed off. By the time I'd hit my second shot the grips/glove were completely sodden. The first green had a river flowing across it and the other two guys in my group were discussing NR'ing. Going down the second was equally as bad, nearly lost my driver out of my hand off the tee and felt that uncomfortable coldness as freezing rain dripped down my arse crack and off my scrote :)
Had to abandon the glove on the third as it was completely wasted, wringing it out was of no use. Couldn't decide which part of the green to aim for...the part with the big river on it or the little river.... it was a wash out. Never played without a glove before and probably wouldn't want to do it again either. I was frozen by the end of the round and spent 40 minutes in the shower - lovely!

Murphthemog did really well with 32pts to actually come 4th on the day... well done Chris, stella performance.

Leftie? who knows, it's not like him to miss an opportunity of 36pts! Maybe Smiffy put him off ;)

Smiffy?.. not sure either, but I think he has a set of Pings for sale! :D :D

Can't really add anything to that apart from WELL DONE MURPH. Great scoring in those conditions.

At least none of us got the wooden spoon.

Highlights of the day??
Great showers.
Nice carvery afterwards and JustOne enjoying a cheesecake or three.
Watching the ducks and canada geese swimming down the fairways and actually dipping their beaks looking for food.

Never mind lads, I must have put the kibosh on you.

Sounds like it was worse there than it was down here.

Maybe I wont take up professional gambling just yet.

Good laugh in the club house afterwards was the best bit of the day, but a free polo shirt is still a free polo shirt.

Fun. Almost.

2 people scored 35pts, one wasn't happy at all as he was accused of being a known bandit (from what I can gather).
In total I think 6 people scored more than 30pts, 3 above Murph and 2 below.

The two 6 h/cappers I played with shot 18 & 25 pts. I blobbed one hole on my front 9 and went out in 10pts! :) LOL

It's a real shame as the course was there for the taking at 8.59am but at 9.00am the clouds literally burst open and an ocean arrived :)

That's just about how it was at my course for the Medal this morning.

Bloody weather! :( :D

Golfmmad.

11, 12 and 13 are crackers.

They certainly are.
Teed off on the 10th and parred that. I thought it was going to be a good day, and then before I knew it I was on "Amen Corner.
I took one point off the three of them and lost three balls over that stretch, one on 12 and two on 13.
