Heston Blumen 'eck !

I did a butchery course back in my army apprenticeship, was great knowing all the cuts etc, I reckon you will love it.

The more time you put in the better it tastes, My favourite dish is shin of beef braised in the oven for like all day pop in some button mushrooms, baby onions for the last hour or 2... just melts in your mouth :p

+1 for shin of beef... amazing when all the marrow melts out of the bones... good with fennel bulb in it as well and a bit of star anise to bring out the aniseed flavours. Couple of bottles of red to wash it down and its happy days. :cheers:
 
I got a potato ricer for my xmas !

hestons recipes are far too complicated to replicate at home but its always enjoyable to watch him at work . :rolleyes:
