Got our semifinal of the club pairs knockout tomorrow......sun coming just at the right time..then Valentine Pairs Saturday and a knock with the Swindle Sunday....possibly playing Monday with Fundy .......keep shining you little yellow beauty!!!

My guess is we'll be on 9 holes for Saturday and if we get no more rain they'll give the pairs event a go as it is a big event and they've already lost several monthly stablefords recently. That's my hope but the reality may be less positive

Played our knockout semi final today in the sun......managed a nice little 2&1 win giving away 8 shots......final should be good, we only have to give away 3 shots for that match.

We had a couple of puddles, but greens were good, and rolling well. Hopefully West Hill will be in just as good condition for next Friday. Not just links courses that drain well.

We were shut today but I went up there this afternoon to hit a few balls and get my Driver regripped and they had already decided we will be back open tomorrow morning albeit carry only. Have a texas scramble comp so will see how wet it really is

Down to nine holes and pairs comp moved to March. Think I might play 9 and then work on the short game tomorrow. Best of both worlds

Great day in North Manchester today, played Heaton Park and the sun was out most of the way round and the course draining well meant it was ideal. Only one temporary green as well meant I enjoyed my first time round here, if only my play matched the conditions today.

Played 18 at ours today and whilst wet in places it was actually in better nick than I expected, cant see anyway yours isnt open by monday, conditions are usually pretty similar
