Help with TV / Sky / Home Cinema / Amazon firestick connection

I've got my TV connected to the above in this configuration

Sky box to Home cinema via HDMI cable

Then Home cinema to TV via HDMI cable to HDMI 1 . This works well and we get the sound out via the HC no problem..

Have now added Amazon fire stick to TV via HDMI 2 but can't get any sound out of the HC. Sound only plays through the TV once HC has been turned off.

Any help please learned people

Ah ha sorted now, put fire stick straight into HC , Mods you may delete if you so desire :thup:

what AV unit is it? Look to see if it has ARC (audio return channell) or is there a spare input on the av receiver? Plug the firestick into that. I have chromecast in mine and it works well
