SSAFA (soldiers, sailors, airman & families association) have a Golf Charity day
at Stapleford Abbotts GC on Friday 11th May.
Rolls & coffee from 11am, 1204 1st tee. 4 Balls (3 to score)
£45 each. Prizes and a raffle/auction
Major Paul Burton has asked me to help.... Pandi428@aol.com ....is his email. This really is a good cause for older personnel in particular who don't receive H4H funding (serving). You probably wont be interested in winning the 2 golf monthly membership vouchers, kindly donated by The Editor! ....but help appreciated to raise some much needed funds.
Stapleford Abbotts GC has had many improvements made over the last 12 months and is a Par 72 6500 yard trackeasy access off of the M25/A12 junction (10 mins). Well worth a visit in a friendly atmosphere. If needed a mix & match with 2/3 balls can be made to help out
