Hello, i used to play golf at the age of 9 and quit at the age of 14, but im coming back to the sport at the age of 16. I went up the golf range the other day to get rid of the cob webs when i found out my clubs were very much to short for me and were hurting my back alot, I have found a nice cheap one on the internet as i only have £100 to spend and just wanted peoples opinions on it before i buy, All your suggestions and help would be much appreciated, the link below is to the clubs

I don't know anything about these clubs but given the price would be wary about the quality. You would be better off going to your local pro and seeing what he has second hand. Alternatively check out e-bay

But i have £100 to spend and in my local golf club shop a club is like £80 :(

If you hold on a while, i am sure there will be someone on here with a reasonable set of second hand clubs, cluttering up the garage. Otherwise try ebay.

My advice would be to save as much as you can and then invest in as good a set as you can. Why not spend a few quid on a lesson to make sure it isn't the way you're hitting the current set that is the problem

I used to have lessons and i knows its not the clubs because they are way to small, I dont really want to have to wait as i really want to start golfing, I used to enter competitions, and i was called a "natural" by my teacher who is club pro,I really think if i get back into it and start practising i will get competition standard again. My cousin is club pro and is only 20 aswell but lives on other side of country so he cant help me with clubs :( i appreciate your help

Can get some decent irons on ebay for £100. Callaway x14s x16s are always good value. Callaway have never made a better iron than those 2. Plus you would have change out the £100

I'm sure you could get a set (or half set) of irons out the paper for £50. I also reckon you could trawl a few driving ranges and pro shops for a set that nobody really wants.

It's on of life's great questions. How come so many of us have loads of stuff we'd gladly lend or give away yet everyone would rather go a buy some new and less-good-quality kit.

If you lived local, I could do you a set of irons and a few mixed woods for £40-50 easy.

Would your parents help you (£) pick up something off ebay?

I have looked in local paper and none, and in my local club shop there is only brand new stuff, where with £100 i could only buy 1 club.
