hey guys,
looking for a little advice.
I currently am using the cleveland vp2 putter!
I also have an odyssey white hot xg 7
I tried this putter at the range and was excellent from distance but not as good from shorter range. It is the opposite of my cleveland!
Which do i game????

Nothing stopping you playing with both

One for distant putts, one for close range.

Not conventional, but not illegal either (providing only 12 other clubs).

If nothing else it will give everyone else something to talk about

Go with the short ranger. Long range is about getting it closer. do a little throw with the arm that you think would get the ball to the hole... it'll be roughly the same as you'd need to do to get there with the putter.

Get a putting lesson. Get the basics sorted and develop a consistant stroke you can rely on and then you can use whatever you like

Im with homer! Get yourself a lesson...dont blame the tools.

Or get on the practice green until distance control is second nature with both of them. (And any other putter!)
