Good evening. Joined the forum a while ago, but was always a reader and not a poster.
Decided to take the plunge and post my first.
Whilst I've been reading I've picked up a lot of good tips for my game (which is shocking!!) Hoping to break 110 next week at Furzely near Portsmouth. My problem is consistency. I always have 3 or 4 bad bad holes when I can't get it in the hole for love nor money haha. Add the fact that I cant keep my head still, means a lot of "toppers"
Anyway,. just a hi and a cheers for the tips really. Happy golfing.

When I say bad, I mean worse then normal haha. I can normally get 6/7 on a par 4, which is good for me (Not been playing long) when its bad its a 12/13 hole!!

been there mate , still there sometimes , its a good old game though. Played Furzely last year liked the back 9 bit more exciting than the front. What other courses you tried ?

Just Furzely and Great Salterns in Portsmouth. Looking to get a bit better before paying out anymore than £20 for a round really. Looking to play at Rowlands Castle and Cams Hill when Im at a decentish standard. If I get there

Welcome along. Boring answer but have you had lessons? Might be worth getting a couple to just tweak what you've got to date and maybe stop those toppers

I've not had any yet, just been watching self help videos on youtube. Am thinking of having some in the next month or so.
