Hello Peeps

Hi @Robster59 - ex East Ren member here (late70s, early 80s) - and heading up to Newton Mearns tomorrow (mother lives in Broom). Played East Ren earlier this year having not played it sine back then. Thoroughly enjoyed it after all the years. Quite different look and feel with all the trees - they were only being planted when I was a member.

Have fun here - you WILL learn a lot about the rules!

Welcome Robster. I appreciate that there is a perception on t'other GM forum that this forum is cliquey and over modded. That simply isn't true. The vast amount of forum meets that are organised mean that almost everyone has met numerous other forumers. This means that people talk to each other like friends rather than online colleagues. If you jump in and make even a small effort you'll make genuine friends. I have, and I'm as anti social as they come.
 
Cheers all. Good to see other East Ren lads on here and I guessed there would be a lot of the old GMers on here. Even some of the banned ones :p :D.
I'm not worried about the clique rumours. It's like golf clubs, you just jump in, join in and chat and don't let it bother you.
Apologies in advance for some of my strange turns in sense of humour.
