I use something like this (but a much older model) when pulling graphite shafts...
Shaft adaptors can be tricky though as you need to apply heat directly to the adaptor....which can melt/distort the built in ferrule which may be plastic (if it has one - I've just noticed my Elyte 3-wood does not a ferrule whereas my Elyte Mini-driver and AiSmoke driver do!!)

Then any basic heat gun will do the job.

The one I'm looking at has 2 heat settings, 350 and 600.
Is 350 enough to loosen the epoxy ?

Nearly all basic heat guns will have a high and low setting. High setting is best.

One thing to watch out for is that the adaptors can 'explode' off the shaft. I have got a nice burn in the carpet from one that shot from the kitchen about 6 yards in to the hall. ( I just use a set of wire strippers to pull the adapter but did not get it on quickly enough for this shaft).

I use a clothes steamer. There is enough heat to loosen the glue, but not too much it risks damaging ferules or the like.
