I hope it pisses down on your Golfmagic forum day!

How about a Golf Monthly vs Golf Magic match to decide who the better forum is once and for all???

Hold me back madandra, hold me back.

Na i'm just kidding although I do think we should lay the gauntlet down to other golf mags/forums for some games.

Weather today I think has put pay to any chance of being on full greens tomorrow. A couple of heavy downpours undoing the relative dryness of the past few days.

I would love to be proved wrong but will turn up fully expecting all the fun of the fair with our winter 'greens'. Sometimes wish I had an alternative pass time in the winter months...

lesson tomorrow. different pro so well see what happens.

went out today but with wind and rain only did 12 (wimp). I was even swinging irons better, very few tops and no air shots but the direction is wayward. a few decent putts and despite the wind a couple of decent drives.

Bacon, scrambled egg and toast at 7.30. Tee off between 8 and 8.40 (depending on what playing card I draw - the cards decide the order we play in our swindle, and the tee time. black aces play red aces, and so on), 18 holes stableford comp, plus fourball matchplay, and then beer in the club house til about 4. Walk home, sleep in front of the rugby.

Perfect.
Agreed, it does sound perfect! You must live near the course.

No golf for me, sadly.

Up at 6, leave for work at 7, return at ?midnight?. Might go and join up with some random comp on Sun morning.....if I'm still alive.

Which clubs you looking at. If you are going to Leatherhead there use to be a nice country pub on the Leatherhead Road called The Star. Food always use to be good (is about 10 years though since I was there). If you are that way could always take her into Kingston for some retail therapy.

I'm in golfing clover this weekend. Already been to the range tonight to hit some balls. Off to the club about 10 tomorrow for a practice session and a roll up game with my regular buddies about 12.30

Just enough time for a quick drink post round and home for the footie. Golf Night and PGA golf tomorrow evening with a cuppa.

Monthly stableford on Sunday. Off at 9.52 so enough time to get another 0.1 back before going home for the afternoon match. Hopefully the wife will have cooked something warm and comforting and then its golf on the telly followed by bed and ready for another week of madness in the NHS
