Have any of you been to Hilversum GC in Holland?

As the thread title says.....??

Looking at heading over for the KLM Dutch Open at the start of September as part of my mates stag do.

Plan is fly over early Friday and have a day on the lash in Amsterdam,wake up Saturday and head to the golf for the day.

Sunday we actually could just about take in the golf again but may just have a lazy day in the Dam before flying home.

I aint really looked into it much but it appears that getting to Hilversum from Amsterdam will take about a half hour by train,does anyone know how far from the station the course is?

Any further tips would be appreciated if anyone knows the craic!:cheers:

I went there on a rugby tour a couple of years ago, it was fine, its not an outstanding place to be perfectly honest, but its by no means horrible, we went by coach so I don't know about train times etc... I wouldn't say theres a lot to do so if I were you I'd try and get 2 days of the Dutch Open in

Do you mean there is not a lot to do in Amsterdam....??

Been twice and I found plenty to be getting on with....
