Has anyone else noticed that it is almost 5pm and still light outside?
(Or are you all too busy reading about troublemakers being blackballed?)

Have Clive, two weeks ago it was pitch black at 4, now i can still see light peeping over Craig Phadrig.

won't be long before a few holes can be played after work;)

I blame Scotland for why we have to change clocks back in the first place.

5pm right now and pitch black on the south coast.

Are you mad Clive?? Its dead on 5pm here in deepest Kent and its pitch dark - what planet are you on ?? 😁

Although it was pitch black and p/&&ing down this evening, I walked off the course just before 5 last night and could still just about see.

Weather looks a bit brighter for the weekend, spring will be sprung.

Here in Newcastle at 17:37 an it's pitch black outside, it won't be until the 9th Feb that it will be still daylight at 17:00hrs. On the day the clocks go forward (24th March) it will still be daylight at 18:34, but then on the 25th March 18 holes will be possible with a 16:00hrs tee off.

We already have the Daffodils starting to sprout through in areas on the course , looking forward to the lighter mornings

Yup noticed this, this afternoon. Could see across the playing fields outside work, and though I'd soon be able to get up for a few holes or for a bit of a hit in the net at the club.

Needs to be brighter in the mornings so I can get out earlier and definitely needs to warm up. On the plus side I always think once we get through February we're on the cusp of Spring and it's all systems go for the new season.

Being optimistic in January is often a false dawn, there may be light but oop north there are still a number of weeks before we can say we're out of winter.

miserable out there today. be nice when the clocks change and I can play after work
