There isn't a national drink for St Georges day. And drinking doesn't appear to be compulsory either.

Where as Paddy's day.....

Strange how more English people in the UK celebrate St Patricks Day than St Georges Day!!! :)

Happy St Patricks day, BTW!!

That's because we aren't allowed to celebrate St George's day without some ingrate complaining.

For those that are still sober - why? Enjoy the day
Is the shamrock compulsory on the Guinness today?

Don't do Saint anythings days, load of rubbish.

bad plan.

Isn't Norfolk a bit like Cornwall, loads of hedgerow saints, therefore loads of saints days = loads of excuses for days off for golf!
I guess thats a good point for some people but im afraid for me days off = not enough money to pay the bills = very grumpy me = not in the mood to play golf.

I don't need a multinational brewing company to tell me when I can drink. I don't drink Guinness and I'm not Irish, therefore today is just another plain old Wednesday for me.
