Hank Haney - the big miss

I would think it would need to be pretty factual, as it talks about real people, and real people sue if you tell porkies about them. Tiger can afford a lot of lawyers to do his suing for him..

Its a book, hes going to want to do well, im sure he wont just tell full blown porkies, but im sure that hes going to make things sounds just alittle bit worse then they really are.
you cant take everything in the book as true , well at least not 100% true, people always make stories sound worse or better then they really are, just depends whos writing it

Boring to me.. Poulter sponged a lift and Tiger put some porn on the tele.......big deal, I'm watching porn right now...... with my other hand :p

Haney has every right to publish as long as he publishes only the truth and clearly marks as his 'own opinion' where necessary... although I can't see many people respecting Haney for this. Sounds like he was a crap coach anyway... clearly he didn't know the ballflight laws ;)

His Tips were rubbish, Even on Tiger Woods 2009 on my Xbox 360! :fore::whistle:

I personally will have a nose and then make my own mind up. I do feel sorry for Tiger in a way. This Guy probably never had a proper childhood, just school, golf and that about it. Buying Porn on a hotel TV, with a born again christian in his presence, isn't smart but funny nonetheless and he's probably found that his fame is his way of "catching up socially" within himself (i'd like to add im not making excuses for him, just adding my ten pennies worth) Lets face it, he can't go for a dump or to a walmart without a camera being there.

The Ian Poulter thing is just funny, its something that doesn't surprise me from Poults. Only he could have the balls to roll up at the airport, sneaking his way on to the worlds no.1 golfer's private Jet!

All i want to see is Tiger back to his best, to break Jack's 18 Majors and be remembered for the thing that made him famous, playing golf. Lets not forget he has gone from world no 53 to 6 in 5 events , not bad by anyone's standard.

Not sure I'll bother. I'm a great fan of what Woods has done on the course but what he gets up to in his private life don't interest me. Sounds like he is a prize plonker but I'm sure some of us have behaved in a way we are not proud of. Only difference is there is no-one going to write a book about it. It'll get a load of publicity, Haney a do the meida rounds stateside and earn his quick buck and once the Masters kicks off it'll all be forgotten

I don't need to read a book to know that Tiger Woods is a monumental tool.

Ethan's 1st post on this is spot on - erudite and to the point. I totally agree with it.

Snelly.

Just about sums it up for me Homer

just wondered if anyone has picked this up yet and had a read...

I downloaded it from Itunes (a bit sad when you cant even be bothereed to read a book). Main reason is I wouldnt have time to read it for a while and i can just listen in the car etc.#

My initial impressions are its pretty good, definitely not what i expected and some really indepth stuff about Tiger but more his mental approach and attitude towards the game and success.

Im not that far in but would suggest its worth a try for anyone who was thinking about it.
