Hang this weather...

Played today at Seaford Head on the Sussex coast and boy was it windy! So much so that it wasn't worth standing a bag up as they were blowing over every time. One of the guys bag got blown in to a bunker full of water.

It was the worst wind I've ever played in, but if I told my bruv, (evahkool), he would only laugh and say it's just a wee breeze, as in the Shetlands and on his fishing boat they get real winds!

We didn't go on the top part of the course for fear of being blown off the edge

Didn't play particularly well but good to get out.

Golfmmad.

Only played 5 holes yesterday (Sat 14th), lashing it down from the off, and totally soaked by the 5th, with no break in the clouds. Hot shower, sandwich and a couple of beers made me feel a little better, but still missed the golf though.

Was supposed to be doing some practice yesterday but that got rained off. Went out for 18 holes today and it was lovely out there no wind or rain and even clear Blue sky but I played awful so no excuses.

Played on saturday in the wind and rain. Wind kept blowing my hat off, and downwind I could turn the battery off on the trolley and let the wind take it. Scored 35 points and won my swindle.
Played again in the sun on Sunday. Perfect golfing weather. 38 points so still on form.
