Just a quick question. I have really bad circulation and my hands get so cold on the course. A few people have suggested I buy a reusable hand-warmer as they are less than a fiver. Is there any particular brand/model you'd recommend?

Thanks in advance,

Tiger

I don't know about the resuable ones but Sports Direct were doing the one use ones for 99p for 2. I bought a load.

You need to be careful not to warm your balls (golf) with them as that's a breach of the rules, I believe.

I bought under armour gloves (dont know the name) as my hands also get very cold in the winter and they were thin but kept my hands really warm andthey dont have the restrictions of mits. if you cant find anything else tiger they may be worth a look.

Costco do a box of loads of disposable ones, stick a couple in some mits and you should be fine.
My brother plays with winter all weather gloves on. He wears them on both hands and doesn't any hand off when playing his shot. He says they're very good and doesn't effect his grip.

I bought the reusable ones from Direct golf and they are crap, the first time you use them they are ok for about 1hr and then after reusing they last about 25 minutes.

I got the Masters gloves but they sag in the palm, got the FJ ones and they seem better.

I just got the new Titleist mitts. Toastie, toastie, toastie and they have a magnetic strip down the wrist making them easy to get on and off.

Tiger ,
Im in the same bat as you pal...
Iv got a condition known as raynauds disease which starves the hands of blood when the temperatures are down....
There sore to the point of being painful...
Through the forum some of the lads recommended mitts as well as hand warmers and i wore them for the first time last thursday...It took about 6 holes but they worked a treat....If you wear a glove get the mitts big enough so that you can get them on even with a leather golf glove still on....Put the cheap hand warmers into the mitts about a half hour before your due to tee off and keep them in for the round...I also keep 2 in my pockets for when im on the green putting as i always take my glove off for this...
If you can get the name and you maybe able to buy a full box on E-Bay on the cheap....

Thanks guys. I've got the titleist winter mitts but once my hands get cold they don't heat them up. So new plan is Under Armour gloves (dry) MacWet gloves (wet) and disposable handwarmers in the mittens. Ta muchly, Tiger

Hey Tiger....
Think of thinsulate in those winter mitts as most of them have, as being like a thermos flask....There designed to keep things warm....The trouble is that thinsulate can act the other way as well...if your hands are cold going in the gloves then they'll stay cold.. The hand warmers will definately do the trick... ;)

Me too and I take drugs to stop the effects. I also have mitts (Ping cos they were on sale) and the handwarmers I use are the ones which you click the metal disc inside (it creates a reaction based upon the latent heat of crystallisation or something along those lines) which means stick it in pan of boiling water and it goes back into liquid state! Most camping shops have them. Hope this helps.

Sorry this is brief but it's late and HID birthday so..... :)
