Hands AGAIN

Is there any major reasons to not put my hands slightly behind the ball instead inline with it.

This is with drivers and woods

Your asking that with an 11 handicap. It's some thing I should be asking batting at 28.

I always have my hands just behind the ball as if they were level I'd end up being too far forward with my weight transfer and would hit through the middle of the ball rather than under it

Put your hands wherever the hell they need to to get that ball forwards and as far away from you as possible!

Asking this as I tend to push my drives very slightly, it's all about the short game it don't matter where the ball lands from the tee as I'm very confident in my next shot.

I'm with DDDave on this one.

Too much thinking introduces (bad) tension, which is a killer of the golf swing.
