Handicap cut so far this year.

Started at 13.3, now at 12.4

Next move likely to get me back to 13 I suspect.

Playing half decent, but the truth is I'm not really fussed about getting cut. Without the motivation/fire in the belly, I suspect that it'll remain about the same for the rest of the year. Must be my age ! Funnily enough, it could be the only way that my golf game relates to that of a certain Mr T. Woods.

11.9 - 8.9 Had a really good purple patch only 3 0.1 increases all year. If I can hold it here or even drop another I will be very very happy

If it wasn't for this bloody wind every time I play Cooden I reckon I'd be off single figures by now.
I'm striking the ball maybe better than I've struck it in years.......but the wind is completely shagging my scores.

Started at 6.9 and 10 competitive rounds later it's still 6.9. 2x 0.1s, one 0.2 cut and seven in the buffer. Quite happy with the handicap considering there's a 9 month old baby at home and I'm not getting as much golf in as I was this time last year!

mega high at the moment ( sure to be taken back down to earth soon). Had some lessons in December after years of social golf off 21. First couple of months afterwards were horrendous with new grip, stance and game pretty much. Stuck with it and joined a club in April. First official handicap of 20.5... 14 weeks later I'm off 10.3. Amazing ride so far

Started at 11.7. Went up to 12.4 and down to 11.8. Currently at 11.9 so hardly any difference to date

4 comps in a row with a couple of mares and a few just one over buffer got me back to 5.5 boo

Recent comp should see me back to 5.2 or 5.1 dependant on CSS

I am surprised that someone hasn't already posted this as they look at my HC and results and ensure they inform people when I'm not cat 2

A bit of a rollercoaster for my handicap so far, started at 11.9 had a few up and downs before getting to 10.5, until four 0.1s in three days last week has pushed my back up to 10.9.

Some good scoring on here. How many on here feel they are "close" to a massive score bursting out. I'm hitting well in patches and with the short game beginning to come together, there's that feeling a good one is bubbling under the surface. Of course getting it out is another matter but I'm feeling it's in there. I assume it isn't just me?

I'm having a year to forget.

My game is in disarray, no single issue, just every aspect. Driving can be left right or straight, regular shanks with any mid to long iron, short game is a disaster area, putting not too bad but now I've said that it's bound to collapse around me.

I've played 10 qualifiers, should've been more but with how bad my play is I'm not inclined to and could happily play out the year without entering another, and competitions are usually what I love most about golf.

Nine 0.1s and 1 buffer, 8.4 to 9.3

I'm due a first ever sub-80 round this season, I've been close a few times.. 81, 82, 83. Putter going cold at the wrong point in the round has been a downfall of not achieving it thus far, but that milestone is definitely coming. Hopefully soon.
