Congu have been briefing clubs on this over the last 3 years, which from the club went on the briefings? Many clubs will have recieved their slop ratings over the last week. Seems like you may have moved to a club that doesn't have the right attitude.

Hmmmm, you maybe right. I'll ask again on Monday. Also about the slope rating. Will be very interested in this.

Yes, as they have for many years.

All players are actively encouraged by various authorities such as England Golf to do so as often as they can.

Great. I'll ask about doing this as well. This will be great, as the Pro in question was not happy with my suggestion that they make the comp on Wednesday a mixed one (we both play on a Wednesday), as the ladies can play in comps on a Thursday (their own comp) a Friday 9 holer (mixed) and the Sunday mixed one. Cooo that's quite a lot. Well you might think it, but the Senior men have Tuesday and Thursday (their own comps no one else allowed in), Wednesday, Friday 9 holer, Saturday (mens comp), and Sunday (mixed comp). So that's SIX they can play in if they so want to. Slight disparity me thinks. Me being a bit selfish? I don't think so.

I got an e mail off the comp sec. Wednesday comp is mixed. All is good.
