Hamilton world champ again

Not a fan of Hamilton - some F1 races I enjoy and some are boring as hell and it really is about having the best car but he still has to drive it and it's a good achievement

As for SPOTY

Root
Frome
Ennis Hill

However you dress it up, you can only beat what's in front of you, and Hamilton does it quite regularly at the mo. Before him it was vettel. Etc etc.
what gripes me is the way cars change every flippin year so it all falls down to constructors building the best cars. I would like to see Bernie say this is the specs for the car for the next 2-3 yrs. then we might see cars which are a bit closer in technical ability.
said it for years that would love to see Schumacher in a crap car to see how he went on. Yup he struggled.
dint Rosberg chuck his teddy out yesterday throwing his cap back at Hamilton.

Not an F1 fan and prefer touring cars every time but pleased to see Hamilton match Senna's number of world championships. I agree it comes down to the constructors (and therefore budget etc) and it would be good to see them race similar spec cars or not allow any major mechanical changes for a 24 month cycle. Won't happen. Will Hamilton be on Rosbergs christmas card list

Stifling innovation would be a terrible idea.

One of the best things about F1 is the technology that filters down to the cars that we see on the road.

A lot of people are quick to dismiss Hamilton's ability, but he out drove the then current world champion in his first season and should have won the world title.

To my mind, the best three drivers on the grid are Vettel, Hamilton and Alonso.

Ricciardo is clearly very good and in a good car who knows? There are a number in that category though.

Although it would be better if more teams were competitive, I'm against having identical engines / aero characteristics.

It's very easy to look back at things with rose tinted spectacles - Senna and Prost both enjoyed cars which were dominant too.

IMO Hamilton is a turd burgler who loves rubbing it in folks noses the first chance he gets, but can't handle it when it's not going his way. I love F1, and watch it anytime I can. It's exciting and after walking the track at Monaco last month I can utterly appreciate the skill involved to do that time and time again and be a champion at it. He'll be a better sportsman when he grows up.

Maybe a tad harsh there Paul, but I get where you are coming from! It's a team sport at the end of the day and just like football, the best players end up at the biggest, richest teams and generally scoop the spoils. They don't get that on a plate though and have to put in the graft and groundwork to get through the ranks to the top. F1 is just the pinnacle.....the champions league if you like. I was in Monaco a couple of years ago the week before the GP and found ourselves driving on the pit straight, past the podium, right hander and up (and I mean UP, it's seriously steep) into Casino square!! Like you say, very difficult to imagine the skill involved when watching on the box.

Maybe I was a bit harsh lol.

Even just going round Rascasse Pub is tight as. I sat in there getting a drink and there was Ferrari's and lambos flying by and I was like this is surreal.
