Hamilton world champ again

It was an exciting race, but they need more teams to be competitive at the front of the grid to make next season more interesting. Great to see Lewis win though.

Just literally watched the highlights this morning and it seemed a great race, mainly thanks to the weather.
Can't believe how much of a bad loser Rosberg is.

I can and Lewis is as well.

When things were going bad for Hamilton he and Rosberg fell out as soon as he starts winning again he makes up with him.

Lewis is a big baby when things are going bad.

I wonder how much tax he actually pays in Britain im guessing none[I could be wrong but I would love to know if he pays any in this country.

Good job that Nico Rosberg is a bit of a donkey and managed to fall off the track all by himself, allowing Lewis Hamilton an easy overtake!

I heard he lives in Switzerland so won't pay much tax I imagine?

Not a fan of Motorsport. I usually think it's great when a Brit excels in a sport but really don't care for Hamilton at all and don't feel any pride in a British F1 world champion.

Guy is a Grade A ..........(insert word of choice )

Spoiled brat who has fastest car but often gets found out when tracks don't favour just speed ..

Good at his chosen sport tho & im sure he has worked hard to get where he is , so does deserve credit for that much

Like he would be the only "celebrity" who has moved abroad for tax reasons???
I can guarantee that if you were half as successful, the first thing your agent would advise you to do is move somewhere else.

I used to love F1 but now its a two horse race its not much to say your world champion anymore.

He is just a better driver than Rosberg that's all IMO.

Now if they all had the same cars then I would be impressed.

As mentioned he lives in Geneva to avoid paying UK taxes. No other reason as the team base is not there. Shameful but he is not the only one. Plenty other sportsmen live in Monaco, soulless place, to avoid paying the taxes that keep our country going. Would I do it. No. If I earnt that much then I could pay my taxes and still have plenty spare.

How good is he? Hard to tell as he only has to beat one driver, his teamate, in the same way that Vettel only had to beat Weber and Shumacher to beat Irvine, although that was in his contract anyway. The dominance of one car each year is killing F1 as a spectacle but I don't entirely know to rectify that.

It was a great race.......but the ONLY thing that made it interesting for once was the weather.......and a familiar podium even then.

Lewis is without doubt one of the most talented drivers of his generation. With the dominance of Mercedes possibly set to continue he could win a few more yet. Personally I'd like to see a few of the other teams in the mix next year like they have been briefly and in certain conditions/tracks this year. It speaks volumes for the sport when the TV is often concentrating on the battle for 5th.....(or even 10th!!!). All done and dusted with two races to spare.....riveting. I'll still be watching though.
