Hamilton world champ again

Like he would be the only "celebrity" who has moved abroad for tax reasons???
I can guarantee that if you were half as successful, the first thing your agent would advise you to do is move somewhere else.

Im certainly not disputing that and yes there are loads doing it.

But draping a Union Jack flag around your neck and giving nothing to this country is my grief.
F1 is for the rich and famous ffs Elton John was on the stand next to him while he was giving a speech.

F1 has been a procession for decades with only the best cars winning no matter who is driving them. Both McLaren and Williams won all but 1 race between them back in the 80's and 90's.

The only driver in my 30 years of watching F1 that was able to win many times without having the best car on the grid was Ayrton Senna.

I think you have to add (and this may be controversial) Nigel Mansell to that, he was one of the few I remember winning without the best car.

Mansell didn't win a single F1 race until he got a drive with Williams. On leaving for Ferrari he managed just 3 wins in 2 seasons before returning to Williams where we he won all of his remaining F1 races inc. his WC.

Formula 1 bores me,just a procession most times with pit stops often determing the outcome of a race, did catch the finish of this race, some exitment but that was only due to the weather.

Just finished Guy Martins book, real exitment and racing on the edge.

I love f1. However, how anyone can get exited about a two horse race is beyond me!

Clearly you don't love F1... While I am at it... when did we last have a Championship that was more than a two horse race? Its usually a one horse race... Team sport, best team wins, best driver in that team wins...

Great job Lewis. Great job yesterday Jenson.... HOW THE HELL does Kimi have a race seat in this sport? The guy has been an out and out embarrassment for years now!

Why did you respond to the thread then? Sadly your wide of the mark with your comments anyhow....

Fair play to Lewis. He is in the best car but he still had to drive it! I think the drivers all want less aids, more overtaking, more racing, but hey. It is what it is!

Anyone watch the MotoGP this weekend? now thats racing!!

Another Sports personality (or lack of) win for Lewis then. Another year for proper sportsman/women to be overlooked.

YAWWWWWWWWNNNNN.... Who cares what the multi multi millionaire drivers want, with the money they are paid they should driver whenever they are damn well told to drive.

The biggest issue is people who don't understand the sport who dip in and out saying its boring and processional. Your mate told you it was or you read it in the paper...

The racing has been outstanding for years with loads of overtaking. A few seasons ago we had something like 10 different winners in 10 races...

If your a racer you will enjoy it, its the pinnacle of motor racing. If not, dont pretend you know about it for the sake of a conversation. More people watch it than any other thing on the planet apart from the football world cup... Why is that?

Lastly, the best drivers always end up in the best car.... that's kinda how it works....

Hamilton, Rosberg and Vettel. 3 winners in a whole season! yeh really exciting that is! Sounds like you are living in the past Al. Of course the best drivers end up in the best cars, but like most professional sport these days, its more about the money than the sport unfortunately.

I didnt watch this weekends race you are correct, But i have watched a couple. FYI, I know a faor bit about F1.. I grew up next door to Frank Williams and am still friends with both Jamie and Claire Williams, know Frank and have been round the Williams factory more times than I have played golf the past year.... Oh and been in the pits at Silverstone after flying there in Franks Helicopter with Frank.. So yeh, I just rant opinion on things i know nowt about...
