Hey Colin.. was it a long wait to be fitted or did you just ring up and they asked you down. a few friends of mine went to Ping at Gainssborough and had to wait 3 months for an appointment.
Good luck with the new sticks. I like the look of the new Mizzy range and want to try them out soon. I'm in the market for a new set of irons!

Chipsand egg I was fittted at Mizuno and it was less than a weeks wait for a slot, doesnt cost anything at all, even if you dont buy the clubs. And its not just a 30 min session its a good hour and half.

The waiting list is about three weeks, so no real bother.
They give you about 1.5 hours which is plenty of time to choose the right set up for you.
The first part of the session is using a Vector Launch monitor, hitting the balls against a curtain. I took along my existing 6 iron and hit half a dozen shots with it to have a base to compare to.
Then it was a matter of taking measurements, recommending shafts and trying them out. Once you have found a set up that meets some good average criteria, i.e launch, spin distance, its time to move on........
Then he pulls back the curtain and you literally hit balls out to the range. This gives you an opportunity to see the shape/flight with a few different set ups.
Finally he measures you for loft/lie & grip size.
Its all free. No obligation to buy at all.

I got the Rifle 6.0's, seem to have the best ball flight ( + I loved the look of them !!! )
