Bloody hell was it heavy... Titleist MB 710 with project X 6.5's. The actual irons he used to win the US Open. Felt lovely but reckon I'd skull rather than flush most of them.

How was it twords your own 6 iron mate ? longer , more loft ? you already said it heavier was it just the head or is it shafts & all, is the grip built up or standardish ? howd you manage to get your hands on that if you dont mind me asking ?

Didnt seem any longer, sweetspot was a lot more worn than mine ;).
Michael Bannon, his coach is our head pro at Bangor also and had the set in his indoor coaching facility (extension behind the proshop). The weighting just seemed to make towards the head feel very heavy. Will try and get a pic in the morning when I am back in. No extra stamping etc, just a very peculiar feeling club wrapped in a Golf Pride grip.

Took a few pics this morning and a quick clip, his 48degree looks to have been strengthened to 46 degrees (check stamping in back). Btw it was the 7 iron I had a swing with, his 6 iron was claimed by Congressional after he hit that stormer at the 10th on day 4. The wedge pictures is the one he knocked into a couple of feet on the 1st on day one. I hit a few balls with the 7 iron this morning too, it actually felt ok but Id probably be kidding myself I could use them day in day out. Bottom pic is off the shaft on his 3 and 5 woods.

Titleist 910 fairways (from memory but def 3 & 5), only had a quick look at them, they were fairly new as Titleist replaced his slightly older 906 models as one had a few marks. They felt nice and more 'normal' but I think he prefers the 906s so these were taken out of the bag, I could be wrong on that though but definitely had the same shafts as his current woods.

Great pics mate, great clubs.... He's playing 7.0's in his new 712mb's apparently. All that gym work is paying off
and they fitted him with the new shafts at one of the last months events.
