Evening all, Just started looking into this forum over the past couple of days and decided it was time to introduce myself.

Names Chris and I'm a memeber at Mount Ellon GC in central Scotland. Got my first handicap (24) 3 years ago and been playing ever since. Managed to get down to 14.0 this year so far but feel there is still plenty more to come if I could just get some medals in !!! Had hoped to get to 12 this year but the missus is due our first in less than 3 weeks so not getting as much golf in as i'd like at the moment.

Entered the HDID and Vovlo singles Matchplay this year again, lost my regional Semi fianl for the HDID one last week but I have made it to the Regional final in to Volvo one, just waiting to see who my opponent will be and then hope to make the Scottish final. (wherever it's being played)

Looking forward to filling my nightshifts reading all the chat and hopefully getting involved...

How's your short game?

Short game is the best bit at the moment. Thats the good thing about my current course. It's short but has very small and well protected greens so helps with the short game. All round game is decent but need to arradicate the silly mistakes and I'll start getting somewhere.
