Thank for all the replies - only just had chance to read them.
Turns out they were a bit quicker than we normally have them, but not by too much. Was told we try to keep them at about 10. But we do have some slopey greens where the ball would just not stop rolling. By scarey amounts on a couple. Have to say our greenkeepers are doing a fantastic job. Greens are lovely and smooth without bobbles and blemishes - the ball goes where you hit it if you see what I mean. The secret is knowing, and hitting it where it needs to go.
