Green reading materials

The R&A have now published the rules on greens reading materials/ charts etc

Don't really think it goes far enough in reigning it in but that's maybe another discussion. A rule for the elites/pros to worry about. Would be interested if anyone on here actually uses them and what they think of the new rules?

Wouldn't know where to get one for any of my local clubs, (doubt they even exist), however don't think they should be allowed at all.
Looking at the R&A restrictions, the first point regarding scale restriction, 3/8th inch to 5 yards (1:480), should kill them off ? A 30 yard green would be represented by a drawing measuring 2.25 inches if my maths are correct.
