Grantown on Spey Gc vandalised

Badly damaged on Monday. buggies taken and driven around the course and smashed up.

Bad news for a club that is already struggling.

The crazy thing is, it has to be folks from the immediate area that did this. Hope they catch the scroats that did this. Hope they get everything repaired quickly before the tourist season kicks in 'cause that's their lifeline.

Great wee course with some stunning views. Played there one time and at lunch was told there was no tuna left for the sandwiches. Would fresh salmon do instead ..... you don't get asked that at many other clubs

Played Grantown a couple of times. The greens there were amazing. Hope they sort the damage!

That's grim. Grantown is a cracking course and as has been said above, the greens are great.

Hope they get it back in order quickly.

This sort of thing REALLY annoys me. Slap on the wrist for people causing the damage no doubt. I would ensure they paid back every penny of what they owe. Hopefully they are insured, otherwise it could be very costly to the club.

i played there last year, absolutely loved the course.
