Worked a charm. 14/1 shot as I predicted (I'm clearly better at this than footie results) and £20 tucked on the nose. Happy days

Did you put £20.00 on all 6 horses that were listed at 12/1 & 14/1 before the race or just the winner?
Nope just picked one at 14/1 and managed to get the right one.

Was in Mr Ladbrokes in olde Bracknell town at 4.45, having spent 10 minutes trying to persuade HID to come in and put her own bets on to no avail

Backed Blaklion at 14/1. Looked all over the winner 3 out, was going easy then ran out of juice. Not sure if it hit the front too soon or simply didn't stay.

I had 2nd place in the sweep at the golf club. £2 a ticket so £80 prize fund, should pick up about £20 or so

Had the first two legs up in a Trixie running on to Thunder and Roses, would have been a huge pick up if it had won. Sadly a loose horse jumped across him and unseated the jockey on the first circuit, so too early to tell if he would have been in the mix.
I did have a share in a horse that ran in the race in 2010. Very nervous watching the race there as it's hard to see what is going on. Feared the worst when he didn't reappear with the other horses after the race. Ten minutes after the rest had gone, we see Tom O'Brien walking him down the finishing straight and we met them at the finishing post. Turns out he was running was a virus and became dehydrated and didn't want to canter back after being pulled up at the Canal Turn on the second circuit.
